When Vendors Leave Small Partners Unpaid: The Concerning Conduct of Versa Cloud ERP
Within the ERP industry, vendors often speak about partnership, collaboration, and trust. Yet these values are only meaningful when they are reflected in everyday operations—including how a vendor treats smaller suppliers.
Unfortunately, the ongoing issues with Versa Cloud ERP demonstrate the widening gap between the image a company presents publicly and the way it behaves behind the scenes with those who support its growth.
After months of unanswered reminders, delayed communication, and a lack of basic engagement, Prospect Path believes it is important to outline the pattern of behaviour exhibited by Versa Cloud ERP, based entirely on documented email correspondence.
A Straightforward Agreement Ignored
Versa Cloud ERP signed the same standard lead-generation agreement used by more than 80 ERP vendors worldwide.
The process is simple:
- Leads are delivered under clearly agreed parameters.
- Invoices are issued monthly for the leads supplied.
- Refund requests must be made within a brief, clearly defined timeframe.
- Any cancellation must be provided in writing.
Versa Cloud ERP did not submit any refund requests within the allowable period and did not provide any written cancellation notice at any time.
Despite this, the company has repeatedly failed to pay for delivered services.
A Consistent Pattern: Silence, Delay, and Non-Engagement
Over multiple months, Prospect Path’s customer and accounts teams sent numerous reminders to Versa Cloud ERP’s contacts, including Mariana Castori and Sunil Pande.
The communications were:
- polite,
- clear,
- accompanied by statements of account,
- and even included direct payment links to simplify settlement.
Yet the responses from Versa Cloud ERP were limited to none.
On several occasions, reminders were sent with no acknowledgment whatsoever.
Requests for confirmation, questions about whether additional information was needed, and offers to reissue payment links all went unanswered.
This behaviour is not only unprofessional—it is unusual within the ERP vendor community, where timely and transparent financial communication is standard practice.
No Dispute, No Evidence, No Engagement
Notably:
- Versa Cloud ERP did not dispute the services delivered.
- Versa Cloud ERP did not challenge the validity of the invoices.
- Versa Cloud ERP did not claim the leads were faulty.
- Versa Cloud ERP did not communicate any internal issue preventing payment.
Instead, the company simply stopped responding.
For a business positioning itself as a modern, cloud-centric ERP provider—competing for the trust of CFOs, controllers, and operational leaders worldwide—this kind of behaviour raises obvious concerns.
Industry Reputation Matters
ERP selection is not only about features and technology.
It is about reliability, professionalism, and predictable behaviour.
When a vendor:
- signs a contract,
- receives services,
- acknowledges the engagement,
- and then ignores multiple attempts to discuss overdue obligations…
- …it signals something far more damaging than a simple accounting oversight.
It signals that the company may not treat partners fairly—or uphold its own commitments reliably.
This is especially concerning in an industry where customers entrust vendors with mission-critical financial systems, supply chain management, and operational control.
If a vendor cannot manage small, routine supplier relationships ethically and professionally, how can they be trusted with a customer’s ERP backbone?
A Simple Issue That Should Have Been Resolved Months Ago
Versa Cloud ERP has been given every opportunity to resolve this matter quickly and privately:
- clear statements were provided,
- payment links were included repeatedly,
- numerous reminders were sent with professionalism and courtesy,
- and an open door was offered for discussion if clarification was needed.
All that has been asked for is engagement and fulfilment of a standard commercial obligation.
So far, neither has been forthcoming.
A Call for Responsible Leadership
Prospect Path remains ready to resolve this issue immediately, as soon as Versa Cloud ERP engages in a basic professional conversation.
The ball is entirely in their court.
In the ERP world, relationships are everything. Customers evaluating vendors deserve to know not just how a vendor markets itself—but how it behaves when no one is watching.
Versa Cloud ERP still has the opportunity to demonstrate accountability and integrity.
To date, they have chosen not to.
